PRICING GUIDE — PLAYABLE ADS

How much do playable ads cost?

The short answer: a professionally built playable ad costs US$800–1,500 for a standard 2D build, US$1,500–2,500 for a 3D or complex build, and US$250–400 per variant when you're testing new hooks against a winner. Below is the full breakdown — what drives the price, how long each option takes, and what to put in the brief so you get a fixed quote instead of an hourly meter.

The pricing table

These are the same fixed-scope packages we publish on our homepage — the price range, the timeline and what's included are agreed before any work starts. Terms are 50% upfront, balance on delivery.

What drives the price

  • 2D vs 3D. A 2D playable reuses your game's look and logic directly. A 3D build has to recreate scenes, lighting and physics inside a 5 MB envelope — that's where the extra days go.
  • Mechanic complexity. One clean core loop ("drag, merge, win") is a standard build. Multi-step gameplay, AI opponents or physics chains push a project into the complex band.
  • Variant count. The first playable carries the full build cost; every variant after it is a fraction of the price, because the engine, assets and wiring already exist.
  • Target networks. Each network has its own specs and packaging. We deliver ready to upload for Meta, Google App campaigns, AppLovin, Unity Ads, ironSource and Mintegral — included, not an add-on.
  • Timeline. A standard schedule keeps the standard price. Rush delivery is +50%, quoted before we start.

How long each option takes

Most standard 2D playables ship in 4–5 days from brief; 3D or multi-step builds take 7–10 days. You'll tap through a working prototype of the core mechanic early — not a storyboard — so feedback lands while it still matters. Variant packs turn around in 48–72 hours per variant.

What a good brief contains

Three things get you a fixed quote instead of a discovery call:

  1. Your game — a build, a store link, or a gameplay capture.
  2. The one mechanic you want featured — the loop a player should understand in the first three seconds.
  3. Your target ad networks — so the build is packaged to the right specs from day one.

Brand assets (logo, fonts, key art) help polish the end-card, but they're not blockers — we can start from the game itself.

Why variants are the cheapest testing budget in UA

A playable that almost works is a hypothesis, not a dead end. A new opening hook, a different first interaction or a sharper end-card can double a playable's conversion — and each test costs US$250–400 instead of a new build. Publishers who treat playables as one-and-done creative leave that on the table; the studios winning UA treat the first playable as the platform and variants as the experiment. You can see the format running in our live LEGO playable demo.
